──  BAOSONG MANUFACTURING SERVICES

ENGINEERING
SUPPORT

Experienced manufacturing engineers turn your drawings, performance requirements and commercial targets into a route that can be quoted, verified and scaled with confidence.

BAOSONG ENGINEERING TEAM

Technical judgment,
careful follow-through.

We look beyond individual dimensions to understand the component, its interfaces and the manufacturing decisions behind it.

──     Drawing review with manufacturing context

──     Clear communication on risks and options

──     Detailed support through approval and launch

──  SIX CONNECTED SERVICES

One engineering path,
six clear decisions.

Each service is a dedicated review area that you can access directly from the Engineering Support menu. Use the one that matches your immediate question, or connect them to prepare a part for a reliable production launch.

Our team makes recommendations for your review. You keep design authority and approve changes before release.

01

DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURABILITY

── DFM & DRAWING REVIEW

Make the drawing
ready to manufacture.

We review the part against its proposed route before quotation or release—so the design, tool access, material form and inspection plan are aligned early.

What we review

──     Drawing review with manufacturing context

──     Drawing review with manufacturing context

──     Drawing review with manufacturing context

You receive

Focused review notes, open questions and practical route recommendations.

02

PERFORMANCE & APPEARANCE

── MATERIAL & FINISH SELECTION

Choose the alloy
for the job ahead.

Match aluminum alloy, temper and finish to the way the component will be loaded, cooled, assembled, seen and used in its working environment.

What we compare

──     Strength, weight, thermal and corrosion needs

──     Machining, joining and forming compatibility

──     Anodizing, powder coating and cosmetic surfaces

You receive

Clear trade-offs and a material-and-finish route suited to the application.

03

FUNCTIONAL CONTROL

── TOLERANCE ANALYSIS

Control the dimensions
that control function.

Not every dimension deserves the same control. We help focus tolerances, datums and measurement on the features that protect fit, sealing, movement and assembly performance.

What we analyse

──     Mating parts, critical dimensions and datum logic

──     Tolerance stack-up and process capability

──     Inspection access, finish allowance and gauges

You receive

A practical critical-feature and inspection strategy for your drawing.

04

LEARNING BEFORE VOLUME

── PROTOTYPING & NPI SUPPORT

Learn early.
Launch with less risk.

Prototype and pilot builds should answer the questions that matter at volume. We structure the route, feedback and revision checkpoints around the performance you need to prove.

What we plan

──     Prototype route and first-article priorities

──     Build feedback, revisions and approval gates

──     Pilot readiness before tools and controls are fixed

You receive

A learning plan that creates useful evidence before the production commitment.

05

VALUE WITHOUT LOST FUNCTION

── VALUE ENGINEERING & COST REDUCTION

Remove cost.
Keep what matters.

We identify the manufacturing choices that drive cost, then assess smarter options without trading away functional performance, appearance or the requirements that matter to your customer.

Where we look

──     Material utilization and near-net shape opportunities

──     Setups, cycle time, tolerances and secondary operations

──     Finish, sourcing and assembly complexity

You receive

Prioritized opportunities with the decision context needed to evaluate them.

06

REPEATABLE PRODUCTION

── PRODUCTION SCALE-UP SUPPORT

Turn approval into
repeatable production.

Once the design is approved, the production system needs the same discipline: stable tooling, defined controls, meaningful inspection and a launch path built around the required volume.

What we align

──     Tooling, fixtures and production control points

──     Inspection, packaging and documentation needs

──     Capacity, pilot-to-volume and launch checkpoints

You receive

A scale-up plan designed around consistency, approval and delivery readiness.

Drawing confirmation: BAOSONG prepares the final manufacturing drawing package from the confirmed requirements. Customer approval is required before mould release; design authority remains with the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

── MAKE THE REVIEW MORE USEFU

Send us the
context,
not just the part.

Design data

Current drawings, models, revision status and mating information.

Function

Loads, environment, heat, sealing, cosmetic and interface requirements.

Program

Prototype need, target volume, timing, cost and procurement objectives.

Acceptance

Inspection, documents, packaging and validation expectations.

──  ENGINEERING SUPPORT FAQ

Questions before
production starts.

When should BAOSONG join a project?

The greatest opportunity to reduce manufacturing risk is before the drawing and route are frozen. We can also review released parts for transfer, cost reduction, quality stabilization or scale-up.

Send current drawings or models, material and finish requirements, application context, key interfaces, target quantity, critical features and acceptance expectations.

Mass production is arranged after drawing confirmation, sample approval and receipt of the customer purchase order, in line with agreed requirements.
